Angel Scholarship Fund
A new program through the state of Ohio allows donors to direct their tax dollars to scholarship programs. Through the Angel Scholarship Fund, you can now contribute funds that will be used to provide tuition assistance for students to attend Catholic schools in the Diocese of Cleveland, and you will receive a 100% Ohio income tax credit of up to $750 for individual filers and up to $1,500 for joint filers against your 2022 state tax liability. In other words, the state of Ohio allows you to “spend” some of the state income taxes you must pay anyway to provide tuition assistance for students seeking an education in our Catholic schools. This means there is no net cost to you as a donor! The Angel Scholarship Fund is a win-win-win for taxpayer donors, scholarship recipients, and our diocese.
- The Angel Scholarship Fund allows you to turn your taxes into tuition assistance for families in Catholic schools. Lower-income families are prioritized based on their household income.
- Make a donation online or by completing a contribution form.
- Designate your donation to Incarnate Word Academy, or make an undesignated donation to the area of greatest need across the Diocese.
