Entrepreneur Club
The IWA Entrepreneur Club wrapped up last Thursday with a Shark Tank style event where 10 different student groups pitched their ideas for new products or services to a panel of outside judges. The top three teams won cash prizes in the amount of $75, $50, and $25 respectively.

The winning team of Colin Southworth, Nihar Patel, and Matthew Muntean pitched an idea for a podcast focused on issues facing teens targeted towards parents looking to better understand the issues their children face on a daily basis.   In addition to winning the $75 grand prize, the team will also advance to the Catapult competition at St. Ignatius High School to square off against other young entrepreneurs for a chance to win $1,000.

The second place team of Donald Heddesheimer and Aryan Majhi presented a video editing service, a skill both have developed over the past few years.  The third place team of Rose Glorioso and Elizabeth Tuel developed an all-natural dog treat targeted to be sold primarily through groomers and boarders.

Congratulations to all of the 6-7-8 graders who participated in the Entrepreneur Club this year and kudos for a job well done with the presentations!
